These days, especially Google, its pretty fast for search engines to cache your page. Whether its good enough to be ranked in the search results will depend entirely on the keywords and competitiveness of the keywords.

Obviously if its not very competitive, it could be listed on the first page within a week. If its extremely competitive it could be a few years before you reach the top.

What you need to do is have a long term strategy in mind where some pages of your site have competitive keywords mixed with other pages with not so competative keywords.

You will need to continually SEO your site and keep up to date with what's happening with search engines. You could also get links from authority sites so that search engines will recognize you faster and improve your rankings.

Probably the real question you should ask is how to improve your rankings, cause really (as long as its not flash), your site should be picked up regardless.
