Consultant 		SEO keyword density?
When it comes down to keyword density. I know there is no one formula a percentage of how many times the keyword you're targeting should come up in your content.
But on a percentage basis, what we use basic guideline minimum and maximum keyword density.
To my understanding he shouldn't go below 3% and over 12% keyword density.

12% is way too much unless you are targetting "the" "this" etc :-) Try not to go over 7%

Stop worrying about Keyword Density and start worrying about CONTENT!!!!!

To many people worry about SEO and forget about putting good content on their site.

Content is king, SEO will do little to help you keep visitors. If your site has good content the traffic will follow.

Aaron Wall of SEO Book says that keyword density is no longer an issue for Google. However, it may be for other search engines.

I would seek out SEO specific forums for this particular question.

As per my knowledge keyword density 3% - 6% is the best.

Dont worry about keyword density. It is a part of the seo factor but it's not depending on seo.

so concentrate on other factors.

I think there is a great emphasis now on how well your keywords relate to the content as well as link popularity. I've understood that it is easy to "overdo" keywords, as well. Check the stats for your site, you should have access to keywords that people type in that are directed to your site. Maybe focus on these ones, as well!
