Gun bans don't work. They are banned in Japan, Taiwan, and Britain; but gangsters and hit-men have no problem procuring weapons over the black market.
The best thing America can do is enforce stricter laws concerning the purchase of weapons. Fines and punishments should also be more severe for those without permits or who misuse their firearms.

Yes, I believe that guns are for cowards, anybody can shoot even with their eyes closed and might hurt or kill somebody. If guns are banned and somebody wants to fight with their fists or knife they need to have close contact with the other person, they need guts and some type of skill. Theirs less of a chance of somebody dying or even going through it.

What good would it do? Criminals don't obey the laws anyway... so they WILL have guns. Why shouldn't we be allowed to protect ourselves from the criminals?

No...but we SHOULD ban HANDGUNS from everyone except law-enforcement.
