Try either a garage sale or local swap meet first.
That way your not paying a huge fee to sell the stuff.
Then, sell what is left on Ebay.

I'd say eBay.

Depends on what you're selling.
If you have local stuff to sell, you can post it for free on Craig's list in your area!
Ebay has the highest fees but the most traffic.

It depends on how long you are willing to hold on to it. For a fast sale, put it in the local paper, have a yard sale, or take it to a flea market. Table / space rentals are about $20 for all day. You should be able to make that back in a few sales and the rest is profit.

I sell stuff on ebay all the time. Here is how I rank the websites.
#1 ebay is the fastest for sure. Try half.com or ebay express too. You don't need to use ebay stores if you are not selling a lot ( under 10 items per month). Listing is not free. However, paypal encourages fast payments, which is very nice.
#2 for craiglist, it works pretty fast, and the listings are free. For Craiglist you can sell your stuff locally. For example,
http://pullman.craigslist.org/
#3 Facebook marketplace is a good place to list items too. Free listing.
#4 Amazon you can sell things at a higher price because of lesser competitions. but amazon doesn't get your stuff sell very fast. Listing is not free.
Happy selling.
