It is a good idea to include your product in your domain name but you don't have to, especially if you're going to offer other products besides sweets or candy.
Part of SEO (search engine optimization) is to include keywords that will attract the right customers to your website. Including these keywords in strategic places; i.e. your domain name, title tag, home page, etc will get you indexed faster and higher but it's not the only thing you should do for SEO.

Think of the following domains and consider if these domains describe what is being sold:
- Amazon.com
- Flickr.com
- eBay.com
- Google.com
It depends on what you want.
If you want branding and make your site easy to remember, then think of a unique name that will stick in the mind of the users. Keep it short and easy to spell. If you look at the most successful websites, they all have short domain names.
But if you want some benefit from search engines, put a keyword in your name -- but avoid overly long domains where users cannot remember the full name of the site and there are potential misspellings when they type the full title |

Depends on what the name is that you'd like to use. If it is something like "www.franksconcrete.com" that really wouldn't work for sweet candy.
However, if your site was called "www.honeytree.com" that might work well for a sweet candy site. Now...I just grabbed two names real quick, but you get the idea.
Yes it would help a bit with SEO if you had some of your keywords in the name. What I have found to work very well is to pick a domain name that is short enough for people to remember.
Note: If it fits into this example you might have a winner.
If someone was standing behind you in line at a store and they saw your website on the back of your tee-shirt, would they remember it by the time they got out to there car ?
If it's too long or looks weird, ( you might think it's cool or catchy ) but they will never remember what it was.
If you're looking to establish a "Brand" like Sears. Amazon, Google, Yahoo, Hershey's....none of those names really tell you what they are selling. But they made it so that when we hear their name we know what it means.
I hope this helps but, without knowing the actual name you'd like to use, it's hard to say if it's great.

yes for me its of utmost importance that the domain name contain the keywords and you must not use hyphens when choosing domain names, this makes the crawlers think that the domain is of secondary importance |
