Why, it is fair advertising and I use them. So do many other people as they wouldn;t go to the expense of doing it.
Put a sign on your door asking them to not give you one, and complain to the restaurant is they persist. |

Yep, just put up a sign saying 'no junk mail please', and if they don't listen, well, there is nothing much you can do, I'm afraid there is no legislation yet to ban direct mail... it's just part of their promotional campaigns and these small fast food places only have this option to advertise, they can't exactly advertise on TV!
I know how you feel though, I get loads of junk mail too, those same pizza and chicken places that I never go to! |

Place a box next to your door with a sign to place leaflets/flyers there.
At first it will start filling up fast, but over time it will slow down as they figure out you're not using them. But realize the blokes delivering them don't care one way or another. They just need to get rid of 'em and collect their pay.
An alternative is to place a small waste basket out with the same sign. Functional and delivers a message. Hee! |

well no not really they are only trying to make business better i agree they should remember where they have already posted the leaflets and dont post there again unless they change their menu or summat but remember it could also just be the delivery person messing arouns and posting them to the same places. Anyway it saves us trying to get their numbers fro somewhere else or even cooking ourselves!! |

Put something on your letterbox/door saying you don't want them!!Some people think it's handy to have them...I do!
It's good to have takeaway leaflets.....so as if you want a takeaway, you have the menu and the number!I'm sure there's a lot of people who think the same as me, and I suppose there's a few who hate it!!

Just put a sign in your window saying no leaflets please. Loads of people have done the same thing in my road. I personally am not too bothered about it because I just keep a few and throw the rest away but they tend to be pretty good at not putting them through the doors with the sign. |
