Do some bookmarks in most popular Social Bookmarking websites like Google Bookmarks, Digg, Delicious, Diigo, StumbleUpon, Propeller, Furl, Spurl, Faves, Backflip, Jumptags, Mister-Wong, Mixx and Oyax with your targeted keyword. You'll see the immediate effect.
Note: While doing this you shouldn't over do / spam it.

You can submit it to Google by completing the Add URL Form at www.google.com/addurl.html.
Submit your blog to directories and submit meaningful posts on other blogs and add a link to your blog. It is wise to submit your blog to quality directories. |

There are three concepts:
- Crawling - Indexing - Serving
A website cannot be indexed if it ain't crawled. And crawling takes place when the search engine autobots reach your website pages. And they reach your website through "links" which need to be placed on other websites (as those websites are already crawled and indexed and re-crawled again and again)
So the best method would be to get your "link" on forums, blogs, answer sites, directories, classifieds, article sites, press release sites and other message boards (Digg.com, Reddit.com, StumbleUpon.com) and many many others......
Submitting your site to search engines is totally "dumb" act. They are smarter and crawl the web without your orders. Yes you can submit your sitemap to Google which makes it faster for the entire site to be crawled easily.
Don't worry your site could be crawled in less than an "hour" if link building done properly.

The single best way to get your site indexed is to get links to it on other sites. It can take weeks for this to have an effect though, since its crawler doesn't check every page every day. |

its too long time period. You have to submit your site into social sites such as Digg, Sphin and Stumbleupon.
Get some good backlinks.
Upload sitemap first on your site if you have not done it. |

It could be one of 2 things:
1. You have not given google enough time to index your new site. Usually takes 24-48 hours depending on your site.
2. Your site has been black-listed by Google.
Once you get indexed use the same service I did to get ranked on the first page of google to get maximized traffic and sales. Read the review on it.

Check out Google Webmaster Tools, as this provides extra statistics on your pages indexed by Google. If will tell you any problems Google has detected on your site that may be affecting your rankings.
I would also suggest to submit a SiteMap as this will tell Google the pages on your site and will help you get indexed quicker
