craigslist because you have a better chance of selling it locally and because people are checking it constantly. |

You have a contract to sell, and a contract for the buyer to close the transaction on eBay, but not on craigslist. eBay is much safer and you are more likely to actually get the item sold, but it has costs to list even if the item doesn't sell. I've used both and eBay is just more effective. |

I would say in my experience, I would perfer Ebay. Ebay is a good, trustable site. I've used Craigslist before and I've gotten scammed on it once for 150 dollars. Ebay, everything is through paypal so there.. you wouldn't have to worry about people not paying you etc. Craigslist is good but most of the people on it, emails you and tells you they're interested but in the end, the completely ignore you. ( Happens to me A LOT of times ). I've gotten good experience out of Craigslist as well but overrall, I would choose Ebay! |

My grown daughter & her boyfriend have been using Craig's List and do quite well with it. Neither have had any luck with Ebay. Neither have I and I love Ebay. |
