What's the best way to advertise my website for free?

It's only been up for a week or so, but I've posted on MySpace everyday, did Craigslist ads, posted on 3 forums, and signed up for 2 free advertising, and still no sales. What should I do?
Sounds like you're off to a good start, but remember, it takes time to generate traffic on the web. Continue doing what you are doing on a daily basis, but also try:
1. Squidoo.com - create a one page site (called a lens) about your product
2. Create a video and upload it to Youtube.com. It can be something that is viral and funny geared toward your audience - perhaps high school/college kids. This can be done with almost no budget - just create a slideshow movie of funny pictures. Make sure your website address is at the end of the movie, and a link to your site in the description of the movie.
3. Create an account on Facebook.com and make sure you have links to your site.
4. Backpage.com is similar to Craigslist, also has free ads
5. Find more forums about your product or where customers of your product hang out
6. Ebay.com - could be a good place to sell your product
7. Start a blog

Advertising your site means introducing its online presence with the purpose of getting traffic. How to drive traffic is not as hard as you think if you know how to reasearch site to get traffic. Social media and by joining large group online are my large source of traffic.

This website is great for web advertising. It's a free targeted advertising (based on you selecting various categories you would like to be included in) and link exchange network. You put other websites text ads on your page and yours appears on others. And it really is 100% free, forever. While it's not something that guarantees traffic it also doesn't cost anything, so why not try it?
