What's the best way to sell something on ebay?
I have two rings that I am thinking about selling on Ebay, but I have never sold anything on Ebay before. So I was wondering if anyone could offer a n00b some advise on what I could do to make a easy and smart sale.
If the rings are worth a lot of money its best to set a reserve price (I'm sure you're familiar with what that means). When it comes to the description of the item, make sure you're honest and thorough and if you can include some pictures of it as people always love to see what they're buying!. When it comes to accepting payment, most people accept the payment method Paypal which you may or may not have heard of. Anyway, to be honest i wouldn't recommend it for sales of expensive items because they take a chunk of your profit! So stick to cheques and maybe cash on delivery. Good luck!
PS make sure you answer any questions that sellers have as quickly as possible. There's nothing more frustrating than having to wait 3 days for an answer.

Ebay is very simple.
1) Research see if anyone else is selling the same.
2) Register and list the item.
It's quite simple!
Do you want to set a reserve? You need to decide that.
I prefer to set a low starting bid, $1.00 but a reserve for what you want to sell for.

Make you shipping policy very clear, and cheap. Seeing a cell phone shipping charge of $80 will loose you pretty much every potential buyer that you can find no matter how low the price.
