Get the kids ready for school. Make breakfast. Feed the dog. Get showered and ready for work. Drive the kids to school. Rush across town to get to work on time. Spend 8 hours at work. Rush out of the office to get to the dry cleaner's before they close. Stop by the grocery store and pick up something for dinner. Kiss the kids. Listen to husband complain about his day while you cook dinner. Get undressed. Clean up after dinner. Help the kids with homework and get them ready for bed.

"You know the old saying you got time to lean, you got time to clean? Well, who has the energy to clean? I DO! Call Me, (your name) and do all the leaning you want. (Phone Number) (Company Name)"
Something like that! :) |

Try something simple. Maybe you dont need a gimmick. I think maybe the public is getting sick of gimmicks and just might like some old fashioned honesty.
Your house clean as new.
I have thew time to clean, just give me a call.
At any rate, just make sure your work is perfect, in this business referels are everything |

Make it simple. Don't over think it. People that will hire a first time cleaning lady will be people that don't pay the best and probably have time for almost nothing. They just want to know the fact-how much will it cost me, when can you do, and how do I contact you. Your name and a few good quotes from happy customers would help with a flyer but if it's just a three column thing in the newspaper just keep it simple. |

get a gimmick...say something off the wall....be different....but send a serious underlying professional message.... |

A couple of thoughts...keep it simple, put the most important points first and sell the benefits, not the features of the service. I think some of the other answers tapped into this. The feature of the service would be a clean house, but the benefit would be more time to spend with family, less to worry about, etc. Also, you need to figure out what your unique selling proposition is, what is different or special about your business? It can be something that is only a perception, but it is important. I have a service that cleans my house and it is awesome. Good luck! |
