What about the small print on TV ads?
When watching TV and the disclaimers are shown on advertisements why is it so small. I can understand it being that way on the schlock ads but it is on a lot of reputable company's. If they are required to tell us that stuff would it be a problem if we could READ it? I have tried taping it and reviewing it but it is unreadable.

There are two plausible reasons according to me, though I'm no expert at this. I think one is that advertising costs in millions, and they just don't want to loose advertising space to show the small print in big so that every one can read it leisurely.

The 2nd reason I think it is because they just don't want us to read it first of all. Making the small print overtly visible, would act against the idea in those advertisements. They just place it there so that in the event something happens, they can still walk out safely, placing the entire blame on the consumer, by claiming that it is there on the small print and it is up to the consumer to take the responsibility of 'consuming' responsibly! The cunning little bastards!

I think they do this on purpose. They probably have to display these disclaimers by law I would imagine. But HOW they display them is another story.

sometimes small print are written so small. so you can get right up in front of the tv, so you can paid, better attention to the commercial. it is form of subliminal mind programing.

disclaimers is a legislation to post the side affects and things that the product can cause.

It's always in small print because who would want to write bad things about their product.

Your time would be much better spent measuring the height of every blade of grass at the local park and using a sharp pair of scissors to trim them to identical lengths.
