Im confused here, your business is about small business ideas. or you need small business ideas or you need what the title says. im using no caps this morning i have short fingers and its more comfy for me.
sponsor or cosponsor some sort of event. have a pancake breakfast along with the local fire dept if they do those types of events like many towns do. keep your poster costs down by simple design and simple self printing. if there is a local shelter in town, animal family runaways sponsor a charity swap meet in your town, go through channels with your local gov office. By getting them involved you get the benefit of their advertising too bring people to your event that you will have a display of your products or a table set up to speak to people and answer questions. Simple low cost things like this bring you closer to your small town. |

get some good contacts e.g. a teacher in a school who could put up a flyer or go into a gym and ask to put a poster up.
also, get to know other small business owners. they can also help spread your name and you can do the same for them. |

I would recommend both online and offline advertisement. Offline Advertisement would be through newspapers. Online advertisement would be through creating your business profiles on Yahoo Local, Google and similar websites that allow you to set up your business profile for free. |

You could put an ad in the local paper, or put signs up around the area( at stores or restaurants if you could) as well as print out ads and leave on cars in parking lots. |
