Advertise in newspapers. I use SD News. It's inexpensive. Website and pay-per-click ads. Zango and media traffic are good search engines with great results. You can change your account anytime and it's easy to use. |

The fishbowl idea is used a lot. Lots of company use it. Most the time when you register to win something a company uses the box to gain leads.
Also there are alot of free online classifieds. |

I do things called "facial boxes" or fishbowls. I have people register for a gift card (to wherever I have set the box out ) or a free makeover. One person does win the gift card, but you can call all of them to see if they are interested or tell them they have won the facial or whatever. I also offer to do fundraisers for local charities and schools. It gets my name out there, plus I can give back to my community. |

I design promotional marketing products for many, many, home businesses including Avon. They are inexpensive some under $5 for 100. They are fun, different and get you noticed. They are designed to slip into an envelope, put in your goodie bags, great to leave with tips, store clerks, Dr. office, neighbors etc. Give them something to remember you by. It is great advertising and they get something useful! Get creative in marketing, no one reads ads, but they love something free. |
