Can we assume you are talking about a network marketing company? In general, network marketing companies have a flawed compensation structure. You have to remember that the gross income that people say they are making from their principles and living by "higher laws"; 1) much of it is made by charging fees for attending their speaking events where they talk abotu these higher laws (and you can't make that money by practicing their higher laws stuff unless you make money from speaking events) 2) they are often not netting out their office and travel expense (there by incorrectly stating that their gross income is their net income)....anyway I'll get off my soap box.
Bottom-line: You can't change people! They have to want to change. I do know this, people are motivated to go towards pleasure and away from pain. To assist in increasing someones desire to change you must help them change their associations for pain and pleasure. The smoker; smokes either because it gives them pleasure or they want to avoid the pain of quitting. To get them to stop they must now associate pain with smoking and pleasure with quitting. Your need to get your people associating pleasure with working hard and talking to people and pain with their current status quo.
