They would be:
1. How fast does the website download? If the website consists of pure Flash webpages, why would dial-up viewers choose to leave the Flash website before Flash webpages download?
2. Does the website have webpages which are SEO optimized which results in a high webpage ranking, high visibility on major search engines?
3. Does the webpages appear consistently on different browsers? Is it written to be compatible with older browsers? Does the CSS remain constant?

I would start with the obvious. Does the website look like someone just kind of whip it up. A lot of novice website builders use black as a background. (If you have a website and it has a black background, I am sorry it is just a statistic) Another thing that you should look for is if the site is selling something does it seem like a ligit product? And finally, are all of the paragraphs or sentences well formed and do they make sense? That is what I always do when evaluating a website. |
