Its location

If Im afraid of the car being broken into I definatly wont stay there.
If its in a reasonably nice place where I wont be afriad to walk to the local convience store at night, then Id pick that.

Oh and AC is a must.

hi honey bunny!!!
Let me share the secret for hotel business.
Why customer keep on coming back to your hotel?????
> The most important is the staff that working for you, they must be friendly, approachable and efficient
> Remember your guests' name and address them by their surname. It will make them impressed. Do not keep on calling the guests as 'sir' or 'madam' .
> do something extra for your guests. if it's happen that they are in your hotel during their birthday, u can give them a little gift and get few staffs to sing a birthday song for them
> remember your guests' likes and dislikes (what kind of room that they like, which floor they prefer, etc...)
> if you have enough budget, u can leave a 'welcome back' card in their room prior to the arrival
> u can upgrade the room of your very regular guests once a while just to show them your appreciation
> VIP like CEO or any Suite Room Occupants can be treated with something extra special like complimentary wine or fruit basket upon arrival. Just ensure your room rate is able to cover the cost. Rich people will never argue on the room rate as long as they feel that they are recognised as a VIP :-)

OK!! that's all for today hope these idea help u in running your hotel.. I'll give u more idea if you want..

Who is your target and where are you located? The answer to your question will vary greatly based on both of these factors, among others. Business travelers demand very different things than tourists, families, honeymooners, etc. Without defining your target you could be wasting a lot of time collecting information that you could have guessed at: people want a clean, safe hotel with nice people, a good price, near where they want to be, and, ideally, free stuff.

Attached is a link which talks about what business travelers should look into when choosing a hotel. Also read up on Courtyard by Marriott since that was designed for business travelers (as they often remind you). You'll get better information doing that sort of research versus asking people directly.

the price attracts me, and i would go back again if the hotel staff were friendly, the roomclean and neat with good facilities, (esp. a nice clean bathroom and deep bath) and the food was good, healthy and a good price. Luxury is lovely aswell, those little extra details, mints, complimentay bathrobes and nice english soap, roomservice, and a mini bar.

Warmth of personnel, how quickly they learn your name and your habits.
Cleanliness in general. Everything should sparkle in any part of a hotel!
Quality of bed, clean cotton sheets comfortable bedding.
Functional and comfortable bath and in particular shower!
Space inside the room, not too crowded and not empty.
Quality of room service and 24 availability of snacks.
Good quality food
In that order.
