It was tough for me too, but you just have to realize the worse thing they can do is say get out. Try going to an area where you don't know anyone first to get comfortable. After awhile it will come pretty easy. |

you need to convince yourself that you are doing a disservice to people by NOT calling them. If what you have is truely remarkable, then people need to hear about it. If you don't believe it, then don't call - you're wasting your time (and theirs). If they don't understand why you are calling, keep working with your message until they do. |

Bri already said it best. What is the worst they can do??? Say No. Don't take it personal, leave your card, call back in a few months or add them to your mailing list of brochures, etc., and move on to your next client. I do it everyday. I went to 16 companies once with corporate Christmas basket ideas for their employee's and was turned down, the 17th one gave me an $18,400 order on the spot! Half of that went straight into my pocket as it always does in my business, you earn 50% on everything from day one. You never know when that next one will be THE one to really get you going.
