I honestly don't think the store is all that bad. I've compared the prices to other stores of its type, and they're usually a few dollars lower. At least with all the things I've needed to buy the prices were better.
Not only that, but they have a broad variety of items. You can literally one-stop shop at the Target in my city. Need office furniture? They have it. Groceries? Check. Clothing? Got it. Video games? Okay. Toiletries? Done. |

They should supply more American-made products. Target has made obvious attempts to disassociate itself with Wal-Mart, but it hasn't done much in seperating itself from one of the greatest grievances against the store--use of an extremely heavy percentage of foreign-made goods to keep prices low. We don't want to have to shop at Wal-Mart because we can only afford Wal-Mart. Shopping at Target can be more expensive, but with the right cause people are willing to pay it (for example, a generally much cleaner store than Wal-Mart, higher employee wages, and "more fashionable" clothing). Allow the shopper to buy American more often and Wal-Mart will have a tough time answering with some semi-monopolistic marketing tactic. |

They should allow the Salvation Army to ring their bells in front of their stores around Christmas.
I refuse to go there because of that. If you have a thing against 'Christmas', or whatever, thats fine. But to deny a charity group that does great things from greeting customers simply so there won't be anybody saying "Merry Christmas" is completely absurd. |

In order for Target to be a better store, they would have to be less ANTI Military! As in they need to get over their issues with all of the military forces. Not only that but they are also against all good things around the Christmas Holiday. They don't allow the Salvation Army, they don't allow Toys For Tots, and I think they are all WRONG! I used to love to shop there, and now the only time I go there is a friend has a registry for a wedding or a baby shower. |
