I hate myself for admitting this, but Heinz usually excel at waht they do. Ketchup, mayonaise, salad cream, it's got to be Heinz. Same with Spaghetti Hoops. Contrary to what that suggests about me, I cook mainly from scratch, and use a lot of tinned tomatoes, which I find are pretty much the same whatever you buy. Supermarket brand orange & apple juices tend to be pretty good too. |

I hardly ever buy brand name stuff, the cheaper alternative is just as good for me.
The only exception is condoms, I always always buy Durex. I just don't trust cheap condoms. |

I'm a wellness representative, and shopping direct from the manufacturer is alot better for consumer household products then it is going to the stores. It's more economical and enviromentally friendly. You'll be surprise to learn that we are overpaying for the worth of some products. |

I buy what tastes good/works well/delivers the goods as advertised (or not actually "advertised"), and I find many well known or "name brands" often don't suit me at all.
This usually makes me think, if only they spent that advertising money on making good products.....!
