Besides porn. But me and one of my friends are thinking about making a website. We don't want to waste money. So, what would be YOUR kind of website? And any thoughts or ideas? If your idea is just the best, then we might just go for it. Try it out on freewebs then if we get success, then woohoo! and you will get credit. and what do you think would bring in alot of traffic. when your trying to guess what people will like you will always fail.
All you need to know is what you like.
a certain percentage of the population likes what you like. there no guessing.
create a website that has lots of information about what you like to talk about. and others like you will eventually find your site and like too. |

I would choose to do a website for teens, now that this is the main age group that is constantly surfing on the net... now that they have a LOT of time on their hands to look for dumb things to read and such. Thus, this would be the easiest...
So, if it's for young people you could try doing a website about:
gossip, artists/bands, music, movies, horoscope, stupid/famous/interesting quotes, jokes, quizzes/surveys about love, lifestyle or anything like that... new video games, sports, new, crazy, and interesting news or products. The newest things out there that are causing sensation.
Also, you can write about universities, school rankings, or such... tips on what to do in High/Middle school in order to have a higher probability of getting into these schools.
Anything related to love & romance will do. Teens' hormons are going crazy, so... that's always something that teens look for. Specially if you add some health info with this (as in what the doctors say). Just to help teens with the questions or doubts they might have. And sooo on....
There's a world of ideas out there, just sit down and think a bit... |

You could make a site specialized to your age group. You could interview friends and get them to comment on TV programs, fashion trends, popular music etc. You could also have a forum page where people can discuss these.
