I am on a low income (compared to some in the UK), I am able to afford the internet because I have a cheap phone and tv package.
I often search the net for cheap items on ebay, especially clothes that fit me, that are are stylish and cheap. I also check our local freecycle. I also use the internet to meet new people, on various networking sites and a couple of forums. I enjoy learning so I often search for websites that will give me information on a subject I am interested in, such as geology and history.
As I do not have the money to go out much, I use the internet for entertainment, jokes sites and games and a certain chat room. |

I think you have to define the low incomes first. For example, What annual salary would be categorised into the low income group? This would be helpful to develop your project.
In my view, I think people with low incomes(below £10,000 annually) search for jobs or some personal expensive items, for example: mobile phones and/or jewellery. It also could be dating website. |
