Suppose there is a company that sells perfumes. We buy perfumes to use and not to make business by using them. So it is B2C - Business to consumer
B2B is quite opposite. A business enitys products are used by another business entity for its business purpose. For examples - The Forging comapnies sell nuts and bolts to car manufacturers. Mining companies sell ores to Refineries. A consultancy provides its research to a business entity. All these are examples of B2B market places.
