What do you think of the design of my website?

It is still under construction and I'm looking at getting a really cool design.
The site is aimed at allowing needy causes to advertise themselves - a system is being built for this.
What do you guys think of the site as it stands?
(I know there's not much to look at though :) )
I figure you will have links, it is nice to have lots of links instead of scrolling, but scrolling is ok, and can be helpful fo rslow computers.
Keep going the way you are.. don't get too crazy keep it nice and simple like it is.

what software do you use to edit the pages?
i suggest you use some javascript codes or some CSS to make things in the pages look sleek and stylish enough.
if you use dreamweaver then adding codes would not be a problem. codes are available on the net and they just need to be customized a little. copying and pasting them will do the trick.
i think the only problem i see now is the theme for your site. you should develop a theme so that when you make other pages, there wont be any problems with the design anymore, you just need to put more content.
you should put other content on the homepage and separate the about us, mission into other individual pages. i suggest you change the opacity (transparency) of the orange color background (around 70-40) to make the text more readable. i also suggest that you change the size of the text.
