What does the tagline "A Refreshing Change" conjure up in your mind?
This is to be used for a theme/concept. It's for a brewery company that is launching a new identity following the merger of two well established breweries. I need to work this into a welcome reception, launch, team building event, companion programme, gala dinner and farewell drinks. The tagline was chosen to reflect that the change that is happening is positive and the end result will be new and exciting. What sort of activities would reflect this theme. Thanks for your help.

Maybe use how the two companies compliment each other are are working together in the future. Highlight what the changes are. The way forward etc. Team building would be working together.

Maybe the color theme would be the two colors of the old breweries - if they work!

Refreshing change did conjure up a new drink - before I read the rest of your question.

It says to me that change is good. At the gala dinner, you or the spokesman/ceo could do a nice comedic presentation - everyone loves to laugh and they remember feel good situations.

Present the change in a comedic compare and contrast situation. Show examples of why some changes aren't good while others are genius. End with your product and give a brief overview of the merger and the direction it's taking.

I don't quite understand your question....you chose a tagline without knowing what it conjures? Cart before horse....you need to know beforehand what are the 'emotional hot buttons' of your target....and it sure might not be "refreshing" as Coke used it.

Are you asking for a logo? A look? A better tagline? The tagline seems to say that you think the current product is lousy!

Is your beer about being refreshing or about taste?...or about being fun?....or about quality?...etc....you need to find this out BEFOREHAND!

There was two times in my past where I worked for companies that 'changed hands'. Both times employees had to attend meetings that was more or less what you are talking about. I can tell you from experience that what employees DON'T want to hear is alot of hype or propaganda or BS. Both times that is what those meetings felt like. Enployees are not that stupid. Try to at least stick to the point. Tell us straight out what the changes will be (AS IT AFFECTS OUR JOBS. As much as management would like it if we were totally involved in what the company goals are and motto and others things of that nature is.....WE're not, at least as much as management wants us to be evidently . It all sounds like BS. We are not stockholders in general. We just want to know how our jobs will change, or benefits, or management practices. do you see what I mean? Please don't talk down to us We largely just go to work, do our jobs, and go home. The best management could hope for is that we do our jobs very well and we are good people who are concerned with exactly that. In general, you get what you give. Be good to your staff and they will be good to you.
