Just dont send the payment because you know that you didnt bid on it. Try to contact the seller and explain to him/her what happened. Or say "hey umm this halloween custume I looked at it, but i didnt bid on it. can you please cancel it, as in payment received without I sending a payment. im sorry. but thank you" just suck up, thats the trick. |

Just go to ebay, log on and check your account. Go to "My Ebay" and it will list what you've bid on, what you've won, and what you've lost. If you bid and won, pay up. If not, email the person and say they've made a mistake. |

Contact the seller. If you really didn't bid then dispute it. |

dispute resoultion is the answer however you had to push the bid button for them to see you as the bidder and then the winner of the auction. are you sure you didnt bid by accident? if they are a good seller they will let you out of the winning bid and offer to the second highest bidder - if they are a good seller that is the key. GOOD LUCK |

If you didn't bid on it, how did the seller get your email address to notify you of a winning bid? And you must always try to resolve a dispute with the seller first, before eBay will even consider getting into it. So contact the seller and try to work it out. |

Contact ebay-it may be a phising scam or a fraud. Also look through your items won in your account, if it is not there, then e-bay does not recognize or honor the transaction. If it is there, then maybe someone bid under your name as a joke or you may have bid thinking that you were bidding on another item, in that case still contact e-bay and explain the situation. |

You should contact the seller and tell them that you didn't buy the costume |

Just don't pay anything. No problem. If you didn't bid they can't leave you negative feedback. |

Contact e-bay see what they can do. Did you try contacting the seller and tring to see what is going on maybe thier site had a glich and somehow it took you look as a bid. look at the seller's record and if they have any similar complaints agianst them, if so make sure you point this out to e-bay they'll clear it up. Good luck |

"What if I didn't bid something on ebay?" Then why are you asking the question? |

Sounds like a scammer.
Some people look up email addresses and spam people for payments. |

Does eBay say that you bid on it? |

There will be proof if you bidded on the item on ebay.
If you look on your Account it tells you what you have brought.
You dont have to buy it if you never bidded on it.
if you did bid on it by mistake, then you need 2 email ebay and the person and say it was a mistake and you now dont want it.
I bid by mistake once,i meant to press bid for other item,
i just had complaint of seller and a strike and that was it. |

What are you scared of, tell them you didn't bid on it, and you don't want it. What are they going to do? |

You either bid, or you did not. If you did...even by "accident"...you need to pay for the item. If you did not...contact eBay and explain what is going on. |

It's a common scam. You're asked to pay for something you didn't buy. When you try to log into eBay from the email you're sent to a fake site. They're trying to steal your personal information to hijack your account. If you clicked on that email and logged in, chances are you've been scammed. Log into eBay immediately from eBay.com and change your password. Then contact them through live chat and report what happened. |
