I brought my first new car.. With no real advice,make a long story short...the monthly payments are high!!! I was in need of a car bad since my used car, i had broke down on the freeway with me and my three daughters. (what a horrible experience) on my way to work and drop kids off to school. I needed a reliable car... so I went to a dealer ship near by... I was desperate and all i was thinking about never have a car break down. My credit was barely new, i never really establish credit I would just try to buy things used in cash. i'm a single mom and i explain to the dealer the carpayments was out of my range..he stated for me to keep the car a few months and then get the payments reduce. it's been a struggle for 11 months now. i have fallen behind twice but i manage to get caught up by the grace of God. come to find out Toyota financial does not refinance does not re-finance their cars. i have an 172.5apr. i can not afford this car any longer!! i don't want it to go back on my credit

try credit union and a finance company i was turn down cause of the delinquent payments but i caught them up, they staed for me to make 6 more payments on time and they will help. but i can;t afford 1 more.. for the monthly payments i should be driving a jag,merced,bmw.. the dealer got me!! try 500.00 don't forget car insurance. Call Toyota Financial and schedule an appointment with one of the customer service managers in person (not on the phone).
During your meeting explain your situation and tell them you do want to pay but you cannot afford the interest payments, which is the reason for your 2 delinquent payments. Tell them that you do want to have a good relationship with Toyota because you love their cars and ask if there is any way that you could meet them halfway. Suggest: 1- they take back your car, give you a less expensive one or 2- they give you a break on your interest rate, say for a few months, so they can see that you really are sincere. |

I got a 2007 Scion Tc from a toyota dealership too.While im nineteen,and new to credit,but i got a rather low 10.24 apr.I wonder why yours is so high,how much of a down payment did you put down?Im assuming it was low or nothing,because usually with a considerable(10-30%)downpayment the APR stays fairly low.Understand usually even with perfect credit the average APR is around 5-6%,unless they have those 0% deals for so many months.But they get you in that too,because the payments are so high,because you cant go the usual 5-6 years,usually its about 48 months.And if you dont make your payments on time,even if your late on ONE! they add on interest from the start of when you took the car.And yeah thats what car salesman do,you forget thats their job,they dont care if you can afford it in the end,they just want to give you the keys to drive off the lot,and they get a nice big fat commision.And while that might be true they dont re-finance,other places do.If you've been paying off your bills and have no derogitory or negative items on your credit report,i would highly recommend www.eloan.com . They have very low re-finance APR's.And they're very willing to work with you if you miss a payment or are late.However the greatest thing i have to say about toyota financial is its alot easier for first time car buyers or those with less then perfect credit scores,and if your late on a payment,you have 11 days from the due date to make a payment,after that it's only a $10 late fee.

have u tried to sell it and then you pay the difference in amount? Or have you tried having a family member with goof credit help you out with a loan and a smaller intrest rate,,,put that on your car and you pay the smaller loan |

Go to the company and say you cannot afford the monthly payments, but you are willing to pay the debt. You need to renegotiate the terms to a more affordable monthly payment. With the current state of credit repayments in the US at the moment, the company will be glad to recalculate your terms rather than get nothing at all if you cannot pay anything. |

Get in touch with the finance company you're working with. They don't want you to default on your loan anymore than you want to, so they will work with you if you show good faith. |
