I own a Verizon Wireless Authorized retailing in NE Phila. and it is a struggling biz, so whenever I want to get some high quality ads in the paper or direct mailers I often find myself without the money I need. Does anyone have any effective ideas that would cost very little? I know it takes money to make money, but I have to make sure my employees get paid before I "gamble" on advertising projects. |

Create a website if you don't already have one and put up an opt in newsletter. this way you can contect people by email and send out offers, deals ect. email marketing works a treat for something like this.
How about letter box drops? that is pretty cheap, especially if you do it yourself. There is also the option of fridge magnets, bumper stickers, ect. |

If you have satisfied client why not use them to promote yourself online via sites like www.servicedomino.com
testimonials on your site are one thing, but that on a thirdparty unbiased site are another. You automatically benefit from visitors looking for other services AND from the sites own marketing campaigns which regularly promote highly recommended services in their local areas. |

One easy way to promote your business is to start in house. Remember that one of the most powerful forms of advertising is word-of-mouth. Customers that have a great experience in your store are likely to return, and even encourage their friends and family to visit you as well. Studies say that customers with a negative experience will tell as many as 15 people about their bad experience! Encourage your employees to provide as best an experience as possible to all the customers that visit your store. You might be surprised how this can affect the bottom line.
Another inexpensive promotional tool is email. You could start a database from your local visitors, and send out notices on sales, new products, features or services offered by both your store and Verizon. It's as easy as having an email clipboard/list at the register, or requesting customer emails when they check out. Email can be a great way to keep in touch with your consumer.
