These are two types of positions for call centre agent
Inbound : Inbound is incoming calls, incoming calls could be from the customers of business partners whom which call centre is tied up. For eg if you are a policy holder from AIG and if you have any quiery then you will make a call to toll free number provided in the policy docket , your call will land up in inbound call centre.
Oubound : Is outgoing calls , the call could go to existing customer for some information or to new customer for selling of some products. |
