Do a google search? :) There is a ton of info on internet marketing and how to get started. It's a very large industry though, with many different models of making money.
In short, you make money by doing something online, could be anything from selling physical products through ebay, to having a popular site with google adsense, to promoting other people's products.

Like a college course it costs money and time.
There are 3 methods to creating an online business.
1. The Bum Marketing Method where most of the resources are free for the most part.
2. Internet Advertising
3. A little of both
Internet Marketing is really a business and if you like helping people IM is a great way of doing it.
I started my internet marketing journey 7 months ago and oh boy what a ride it has been. I have spent about $750 bucks to get the knowledge I currently have, $500 of it was a list building course that I'm still going through (almost finished).
The answer to your question would be better asked this way....
Q: Whats the best way to learn Internet Marketing
A: Get a mentor to help you through the learning process.
I could speak about this for days but you need and answer. Here is a sugguestion:
1. Ask yourself if you have time on your hands... the more the merry
2. Do you have any money to utilize
3. How quickly do you want to go
Here is a small list of the directions you could take:
Listbuilding
Blogging
Search engin optimazation (SEO) selling a product or service
Email marketing
and so on.....

The simplest way to explain it well the way that I understand is
You are an online sales rep, promoting your product or other peoples product for a commission,
You promote items through a web site , blog, forums, articles and so on, there is tons of info about it
This is the way I look at it,
Try and promote something that is popular or has a market for as there is no point in sell snow to an showman, unless you are extremely persuasive but it is easier if they what it first... |
