What is it about advertising that makes it effective?

First of all, not all advertising is effective. In fact, probably half of it is INEFFECTIVE. There's a famous quote that says, ""I know half my advertising dollars are wasted - I just don't know which half!"

All that aside, there are 2 parts to making advertising work:
1. Strong copy (i.e. the ad is relevant, good & compelling)
2. Strong media weights (i.e. the good ad is advertised often enough so that your target sees it, remembers it and acts on it).

Regarding making copy strong, there are 2 keys to success:
1. Good strategy (i.e. there is 1 clear benefit for the consumer and it's compelling and believable...and, importantly is strongly associated w/ the brand that is advertising it).
2. Good execution (i.e. the agency delivers an ad that effectively communicates that benefit to your target).

I personally use blogging, submit articles and use pay per click is very effective. You may wish to check it out.

There is multiple things that makes the marketing effective and very important for any industry in the world .

The advertising is like a REMINDER for your brain about this product you used or you wanted to use and you have forget to make that action so when you see the advertisment you remember to buy the product when you have the chance to do that ,

2nd the advertisments or the effective advertisment always target the human needs ,for example when a Casino in las vegas make an advertisment about the casino they dont advertise about the casino directly they advertise on the pleasure you will get form visiting thier casino and thats what people looking for going there ,so what that means that advertisments do is pushing your desires from the needs and this goes for the unconcious level in your brain and makes you want to go there more than any other place .

the advertisments also makes you hear about the product/service specialy when it is new for the market and customers ,so people start want to try this product .

there are a lots of benifits from advertising so if you want to learn more about this you have to read more about it because it dosent only makes your sales more it also makes you relation ship with people better ..
