In some cases this may be illegal as there are many lists now of people you can NOT cold call, yet most telemarketers ignore these lists. In any case, cold calling upsets and angers a lot of people, most of it is done in the evening when people are around, but during a time when people want to enjoy their family not talk to an annoying salesman. |

"East Bay" don't get it. Although all telemarketing is Cold Calls, all Cold Calls are not telemarketing. Many Cold Calls are welcomed if you are calling someone who needs and wants your services. I always take Cold Calls and have even found some great long term vendors who originally Cold Called me. Also, 2 of my top 3 customers came from Cold Calls. I knew we could help them, and they were happy we called. |
