PageRank is Google’s ranking software that calculates the relevance of a webpage to the search keywords entered. The software analyses both the number of incoming links and the ‘quality’ of the referring webpage to generate a relative measurement between 0 (low-relevance) and 10 (high-relevance). Ranking in search engines is mainly based on how much websites are linking to your website. The more links to your website, the higher your PageRank. The higher your PageRank, the higher your ranking in search engines.
Google describes PageRank:
“ PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important". â€
PageRank results from a "ballot" among all the other pages on the World Wide Web about how important a page is. A hyperlink to a page counts as a vote of support.

To check your website's PR, download Google toolbar. Else, you can check in any page rank checker tools available in Search Engines.
Infact PR will be alloted by the Google Search Engine. If you would like to know the rank alloted by Yahoo, download Yahoo toolbar in which you find Trust Rank.
Your website has no PR. Currently it is "Unranked". Start building more relevant and authorized back links to increase your PR.
