Was in your shoes.

Now I discovered that doing the Affiliate Junktion program which pays for Leads - yes just leads, not sales, changed my situation.

I found it easier to make money with this as most people will not mind giving their email address online. I get paid $2 each time this happens.

Since you already know the basics, you can give the program a re try. Good luck.

I have been doing Affiliate Marketing for about 4 years now and I have learned a couple of things...

In the past 2 months, I've made more than what I made all last year ($3K or so). What I have done is to focus on a few niches instead of going after everything that seems cool. I also do not live in the US so I have targeted my own country as a niche group. Without the US AM competition, I am almost alone marketing to my own country!

For fast results - good luck. For real results focus on natural search with better SEO and unique content (content, content, content).

Affiliate marketing is a tough industry. The competition is high and everyone is selling something. I, myself, have been trying to do online marketing for about 10 years, without much success. I found an excellent website started by two starving college students who are now each earning upwards of $150,000.00 per month EACH. No joke. I joined last week. Check it out, take a free tour, sign up if you like, cancel membership at any time. The tools alone are worth the membership, you can create a website to sell pretty much anything on the site even if you know nothing about HTML. Highly recommended.

I would say that the first thing to do is to know if actually people are clicking your affiliate links. And the second is to track this affiliate links. To do the first one you have to drive traffic to your site or sites. To do this you can blog your site, buy some affiliate management software to track it, and cloaking it.
