advertise; maybe something like a quick sex offender check, ad says there are 20 registered offenders in this area, is your child safe; do some probono, for domestic violence, send cards out to buisness and schools advertising for employee background checks..get creative, divorce lawyers may be another good connection, would love to get into this buisness myself, it is a winner, being on the ground floor, get your rep made and make a bundle |

Put a good sized ad in the local newspaper. Something people will see while thumbing through it. Or make some Brochures or flyers and post them all over town. Those would be the cheaper ways to start out with. |

This really depends on your Budget and goals.
Spot Cable advertising on Crime TV can be a great idea. Prices will range from only $25 to $75 per 30 second spot for a three to five town zone.
On a low budget, I recommedn getting involved with your local chamber of commerce and meet as many people as possible at the networking events.
An easy to remember company name and web address are also key. Most people may not need your services when they first meet you or see your ad, but may find a need shortly after and will need to remember your company name and a way to contact you.
Yellow pages can also be effective for this type of business.
