As someone who has used a P.I. in the past, I would say your best bet would be to advertise an introductory special.
Affordable rates always attracts more clients.
Find out what your competitor's charge and then offer a special for a limited time.
You could print up some inexpensive postcards with the special rate and your contact and website information, go to whitepages.com and access their database for a mailing list and send some out to your business area.
People love to save money and most stay-at-home moms who suspect their husband of cheating don't have the means to pay for an expensive investigation.
I bet you would get alot of responses and hopefully, enough business for word of mouth referrals!

dig around and find out! lol. Try some sites where people think their spouses are cheating. think outside the box. Maybe put some cards out at the courthouse, etc. Put business cards in library books about divorce and cheating.
