Bands usually do pretty well with a blog. It gets the fans involved and that's always a good thing. Make sure you have RSS and try blasting the blog.
Make sure you give them access to vid's of the band. You could even let them rate the vid's. Do bio's on all the bandmembers. If they're cuties, this should get the girls going! Include appearance dates and times, all that stuff.
And, since it's the music scene, you can go a little crazy. Don't be afraid to go way outside the box here.
