I think looking at your backlinks, I would recommend to continue creating Quality Content, and provide an easy way for people to link to you. Create a Page with Link to Us and provide text links, graphics and other information including the HTML codes that people can copy and paste to link to you. Keep on doing things you have been doing (I can see from your backlinks (149 links) as per Yahoo, that you are on the right track. Specially that Article Link Building :). |

Good Links is the Key word in your question. There are many sites you can go to for Direct Links, Link exchanges where you have a multitude of links, there easy to find, thousands of links that arn't relevent to your site. Link Integrity is the key--search engine robots reward with better ranking, which improves site popularity. I've wasted alot of time joining many link programs. There are probably many that will help you---and putting your question on this site will save you alot of legwork. One site that I found helpful to me is

First of all...Spydie is wrong...you don't need links from websites that are related to yours in order to get higher rankings with search engines.
Also I heard someone talk about link exchanging, another myth. Link exchanging won't increase your page rankings, in fact...search engines frown upon link exchanges.
Quality content will not add on to getting a higher page rank, it will just have people stay at your website and link you. But just saying that quality content will give you higher page rankings is a misnomer.
My advice...get one way links from any site. That is how you get a higher page rank.

Well, given your site I have a suggestion.
It may not be the cheapest, but if you promote it right it could get you a ton of relevant backlinks & positive exposure. So, maybe it's the cheapest when considering the benefits.
Give away a vacation. Notify some news organizations, submit a press release, create some catchy videos to upload to video sharing websites... get the word out. Setup an autoresponder list (a sequential email series) with articles promoting the benefits of what it is that you have to offer and require potential winners to remain an active subscriber until you have the drawing in a month or two.
You'll get publicity cuz you're giving away something valuable
You'll get backlinks (natural, I might add) cuz it's a buzz worthy concept
You'll get targeted prospects to signup for your email list who you can soft-sell to a couple of times per week & probably get some sales that way, even if they don't win
The easiest, cheapest, quickest and best way to increase relevant links to your website is to give people something worth linking to. |
