Basically, cut a deal with someone who has an existing email subscriber / opt-in list. Make them an affiliate, or offer them a special deal to send your offer to their list.

The fastest way to get your site ranking is by using a strategy that includes a number of carefully planned tactics.
If you want to have long term success though you should avoid "spammy" or "black hat" tactics at all costs.
Start a blog that has content relevant to your site and post regularly. Make sure you have links pointing back to your site.
Write articles about your targeted niche and submit them to the top article directories. Be sure to get them on directories that have categories for your niche if possible. Put your site links in your signature line.
Post quality content on your site
Use pay per click advertising. BEWARE: Make sure you get some coaching on this. I use AdWords Miracle http://pdguyon.com/awm
Create a Squidoo lens and establish yourself as an expert.
Search for other websites in your niche and note who are the top 10 in the organic rankings. Ask them to link to your site.
You must establish an traffic strategy that address both short and long term goals.
If you don't know how to do some of these things consider outsourcing what you don't know how to do. It costs money but if your website converts leads into customers well it will pay off.
You also need know your statistics. The basics are:
Number of unique visitors
Number of visitors that become leads
Number of leads that become customers
The lifetime value of a customer (how much a customer will spend over their lifetime as a customer.
Once you know this you know how much you can spend per lead.
The quickest way to test this is using PPC ads.
