I don't know if this is true about U.S. ad agencies, but it is for Canadian ones: There are no mandatory educational requirements, but a BA in communications, business, or advertising sure helps.

Experience and successful campaigns you're participated in. Check with the head of the marketing department and see if he/she has a marketing degree before you start boasting about yours.

None. Your experience counts more than anything in an ad agency. Do you want a creative position (copywriter? designer?) If so, your "book" (portfolio) is king and, along with a good personality, of course, means more than ANYTHING else to them. With a kick-*** book, the doors will open for you. If it's a non-creative function you want, e.g. Media Buyer, Rep, Traffic Manager, etc, then they will look for experience mainly. Good luck!

if you're talking about the degree, then that's not the required qualification. The most wanted requirement for a marketing professional would be his/her attitude. Attitude decides your Altitude. In the advertising industry Creativity is one more absolute qualification, a marketing professional would need.

you need to complete a bachelors in business manangement. but if have good communication skills then any degree would be fine. you just need to try the profession.

In marketing field no qualification more than +2 is essential usually. But yuo need to be creative and must have a strong heart as there is no surity of job either.
