real estate is location, location, location, you web real estate is no different. The main ingredient is targeted traffic. you can have the most beautiful website with great content, fantastic images, great stories, user friendly ect.... but it is worthless if no one but you and Momma see's it.
Traffic is the main ingredient for a successful site regardless of what anyone says.
I have many clients that had wonderfull sites and no traffic. and they were not successful, now that traffic is there they are doing well.
I also have clients that have average sites with loads of traffic that make a killing.
kinda like having a high class store and no customers. kind of a waste huh?
But a smaller store with clients makes money.
Do not buy the crap, traffic is the main factor. |

keep it simple:
1. design templates that will be used for every page you design - it must be simple, for instance your logo must be at the same place for every page, and your links or thumbnails must be at the same location for every page.
2. choose the right colors that is aesthetically pleasing, for instance keep 3 colors for every web page you design.
3. choose a hierarchy - this means choose how the links will operate. do you want the index or main page to link to all pages, or do you want every page to have links to other pages. for instance, you want skateboards to link to wheels, or do you want skateboard and wheels to be on the same page.
these are the simple tips you need to keep in mind. most importantly make sure when you use a companies logo or design to promote your products, make sure you have permission to use them.
