hunt | What should be the dress code of CEO (male)? |

my husband wears normally a dress shirt and dress pants. While white shirts and black pants are the norm, he wears that or white shirts with olive, khaki, navy blue, brown, or whatever other color pants. He also wears colored dress shirts, with those pants. Always a tie. It just shouldn't be loud. Just nice and conservative. People always compliment how nice he looks. Suits can be anything to, just nothing loud. |

In recent years the NBA has spent a lot of time defending its young players, insisting that fans would come to embrace its next generation as worthy successors to the Michael, Magic and Larry era. But as America's love affair with the NBA game has faded, commissioner David Stern is conceding that it's time for those players to undergo a fashion makeover. But unlike most makeovers, the NBA version is actually designed to make players look less hip--and, specifically, less hip-hop. The league's label for its new dress code is "business casual," taking aim at such mainstays of NBA arena style as outsize T-shirts, hats, do-rags, sunglasses, headphones and big chains. The bling ban will be backed by fines and, if required, suspensions, though Stern believes disciplinary action won't prove necessary. "When it's properly understood," he says, "it will be embraced."
That understanding may take a while. Some players have already denounced the new code as racist, an attack on black culture. Others simply think it's misguided, the wrong way to connect with youthful fans. And some of the young millionaires even groused that they should get an extra clothing allowance to buy the requisite new threads |

I should think the CEO can wear whatever the hell he wants to...but, to fit what everyone THINKS he should wear, the whole 3-pc. suit thing. not a lot of jewelry. He's CEO, not Pimp Daddy! |

Judging by your ques. and spelling. you don't have to worry about it. |

it depends of the type of business and the location. In the US, we've become a lot more casual- even places that were strictly "dressy" like church have changed their dress codes to fit in more with our daily life styles.
however, your appearance is still the main component of the first impression you make. if people look at you and don't feel you take your business seriously, neither will they.
a standard dark suit can always be altered to make it more casual or more dressy, so you really can't go wrong. |

Well, I think a suit (note spelling) is pretty stuffy unless the CEO is wearing a garter belt underneath it. I think he (they are always hes) should have grillz and a Mohawk and accessorize with a Barbie necklace.
If he is CEO of a progressive company, he should wear whatever he likes. |

Assuming you mean SUIT (as I don't know what a sute is), it depends on whether the company is Business Casual or Business Formal. Based on your question, I'll assume Business Formal.
Suit can be Navy Blue, Light Gray or Dark Gray, solid or thin pin-stripe.
Shirt is solid white button down collar with long sleeves. Sleeves can be button or cuff link. Cuff links should be very subdued.
Belt is solid black.
Watch is of high quality but does not have to be a Rolex. Can be Seiko, Omega, Tag Heuer, etc...
Shoes are black. Wing tips are preferred.
Hair color & style is whatever you have so long as you are well-groomed.
Limit other jewelry to a wedding band (if married).
You didn't ask about ties. Feel free to add color to your suit with a nice tie. Solid or pattern or stripes are fine. Please tie the tie using the traditional Windsor knot and make certain it ends just touching the top of the belt. A tie that is too short or too long ruins the look. Go with a traditional width and silk fabric. |

Generally speaking, it should be a suite (generally black) with a nice bright collared shirt and a unique tie. Red stands out the best as a tie. You should have a nice clean cut haircut, the shoes should be black, shiny. Wrist watch is up to you, but I bet the schedule is pretty time consuming, so I would get a watch. You can decide what colors to get for your shirt, i would get the bright colors like blue, yellow, white, beige, etc. In the business world it is important what impression you set on your customers and co-workers, so make sure you smell fine, and are wearing proper slacks and a jacket with it. |
