Think outside the box... insurance companies, junk yards, and well targeted neighborhood flyers might bring in more focused customers that need your service. Notice when a car window has a crack and offer a flyer or business card. Consider a website and paying for the keywords to get to the top of the list for your area. Word of mouth works well. There's a good library book that I found called Marketing without Money by Nicholas E Bade... definately worth checking out (pardon the pun). |

you local pennysaver, Craigslist.com, Buy and Sell publications, ebay, flyer's handed out in the neighborhood or posted where allowed, i.e.supermarkets, public bulletin boards, fences, poles, storefronts, etc. |

Don't know if your doing this, but there is a local company who will drive to the location and replace the glass. They drive vans that are painted to stand out, this way people spot them. Customers don't have to take a car to them, and as they work on the car, people driving by can very easily see what they are doing, and might try to remember it for when they need the service.
You could try a billboard. I can't say how much they run, but supposed to be on the cheaper side. You can't have your ad say to much, since you only have a few seconds of view time. A newspaper ad might work better, but would cost more.
Have you tried handing out business cards or a brochure to an Insurance company. That way if a client of theirs calls in a claim, they can put you on their list. That would be the best way, since you'd be advertising pretty much directly to the client. |
