Friendship can't be bought, very often your true friends are made when you are a child. I personally have all the same friends I made when I was five to fifteen I am in my mid twenties now and practically know where to meet up even without phoning. Most people I have bonded with since then tend to be more acquittance's rather than people I would die for but of course my best friend is my wife. I'm lucky really because I have also bonded with her friends. My wife is in advertising so we tend to go to a lot of celebrity functions and to be honest there is only one celebrity i personally have bonded with the rest tend to treat you like s??t. These events certainly add to our social life. But the best times for me when we go to football or sitting in a pub chilling out. It's not much fun for the Mrs though when i come home and cant finds the key to the door. Keep hold of your friends mate you never know when you need them but remember that works both ways ATB Redmonk
Do you know what? your question really got me thinking about freindship. I'd almost forgotton about the older generation of freinds I have made in my short life. You know; those people you go to when you can't talk over things with mum or dad, people you can't imagine not being there. Then all of a sudden their gone. I have just been to a funneral of one such person and I very much miss her. Unfortunately that seems to be life and it is not a pleasant part of life. As I get older my older freinds will get less and then I supose I will get lonlier and lonlier and rely more and more on the freinds I made in early life but thats the way life is and we must all accept that. We must all be thankful we have or had freinds of senior years to protect us from the turmoils of our own minds. I hope you find your freind.
