One time I had a layover in Dallas and I told a Hari Krishna that I was in a cult just like his. I talked to him for about an hour. Told him when I first joined I gave up all my worldly possessions and shaved my head just like they did. I then told him how I lived and worked in a big commune with other people just like he did and how we all dress the same. He asked if I meditated and did yoga, and I told him how we all got up before sunrise and exercised and chanted together. The whole time I talked to him with a straight face and told him the truth. Everything his group did, we did too. I then told him about the great pay I got and free medical and dental plan and he wanted to know what group I was in. He was begging to join up with my group, and wanted to know the name of it. He freaked out when I told him it was the US ARMY. Hes probably a Sergeant Major now. |

In short, no.
You see I used to work for MCI. I was one of those people doing the calling. It's a sucky job, so I figure why make it suckier than it already is.
But when they call me at home, I just say, "oh sorry they're not home" and boom..... it's over. |

Actually, I like to start talking to them about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That usually wraps it up. Good, clean fun. Unfortunately, that strategy can backfire. That happened to me once, and by the end I had to pretend to start speaking in tongues. |

I just hand the phone to my husband.Or if he isn't available, my 5 yr old grandson. Both love to talk and could do so for hours, non-stop. Usually the person on the other end will say I have to go first.(If alone, I just begin to giggle at every thing they say). |
