When you sell stuff on ebay does the person that sells the stuff pay the shipping or the person that buys?

Jimithy â„¢
Depends on how you list it. I make my customers pay.

the person that sells the stuff tells the person who buys the stuff how much shipping , packing and handling will be and the buyer pays it.

Mommymonster
The buyer usually pays an inflated shipping cost and the seller gets a profit from it. You have to be careful.

Usually the buyer unless stated

I sell stuff on ebay. The shipper decides the charge. You can make it free if you want or charge an arm and a leg. I usually choose a flat fee. Don't go crazy or no one will buy it.

It depends on what the seller wants. You'll know, just click on the item you want and the shippng details are usually included.

pitbull lover
You charge the person that is buying the item the shipping, you can get an estimate of the cost at your local post office.

elclone
the buyer pay the seller and the seller then pay for shipping

EC

JENN
from my experience its the person who is buying the product.

Usually it's the buyer. I've never seen a seller who paid it.

The buyer.

when you buy you should be aware of the price of shipping, it will usually say at the bottom and be added in when you pay the amount. The person shipping it to use uses what you paid them in shipping to ship it to you. Make sense now?

the person that buys, unless they say no need to pay shipping

justwannaknowstuff
the buyer pays for the shipping in most cases. You need to include it in the listing though.

OK There are different ways to answer this.

Firstly, the seller may offer FREE SHIPPING, in which case obviously the buyer does not have to pay for shipping (but you'd better believe that the seller is making a big enough profit to easily cover the shipping costs!).

If the shipping is not free, then the buyer pays up front the shipping fee along with the cost of the item. Then the seller actually pays for the shipping (with the buyer's money).

Sometimes, in order to entice buyers, the shipper will reduce the amount he/she is charging for shipping to below what it will actually cost him or her. So you are in a way, sharing the cost. But again, the profit on the item is enough to cover whatever loss the seller has on the shipping costs.

snoopdizzal
the person that buys the stuff usually pays for shipping unless the seller states that the shipping is free.

pditty75
The Buyer, unless stated otherwise in the description.

The price of shipping is added to the buyers bill by the seller!

the seller actually charges the buyer for shipping, sometimes a flat rate, sometimes actual rate.

cool_vegas_girl5
the buyer has to pay for the shiping, but sometimes the seller will pay.
