At my previous job, we used Spectra, a paid service, to get lists of zip codes and relevant information about that specific zip code.
Short of that, you can download raw zip data from the US census site. It is not perfect, but it should work. From my recollection (my project was slightly less annoying, but zip code related), the US Postal service does not provide a full/useful list of zip codes for public use.
And FYI, there are about 40,000 unique zip codes in the US. I'm not sure what your project is, but you might want to use a different system to assign people to geographies... |

Post office has zip codes for the United States available. That's a start. That should keep you busy for a couple days anyways. |
