there are loads of resources for you out there online. I would go to Aron Wall's Seobook, it's an ebook and has some mozilla tools. There are so many pitfalls out there, just don't fall prey to spam tactics, and practice clean white hat seo for the best results. They take longer, but there is less risk of getting flattened by gaming the search engines.
