If you want to advertise only in your community there are dozens of ways.
The obvious place is by taking out an ad in the town newspapers and by placing a yellow page ad.
You could contact local schools to see if they sell ad space in their yearbooks or event programs. Schools and academic and sporting groups are always looking for business partners to help sponsor them and in doing so you get good publicity in the community. If you sponsor a local group you can often get your business promoted in their programs or by recognition at the event.
Sometimes local parks have banners to local businesses hanging on the edges of the fields where children have their football, basketball, and baseball games because they have donated to the organization or park.
Place your business cards up on community bulletin boards.
You don't indicate the nature of your business, but if appropriate you could print coupons or advertisements and distribute them in your local communities.
Also, check with your local chamber of commerce about becoming a member. |
