Which name do you prefer?
I'm starting an on-line business for vintage clothing -- problem is, I can't decide between two store-names:

Strawberry Koi (for my love of strawberries, which is a romantic sensual fruit - and "Koi" a beautiful fish, but also means "deep or passionate love" in Japanese... reflecting my european and Japanese heritage.

The Twinkle of Tea (a subtle reference to an Alice in Wonderland quote, and I am a big fan of Alice in Wonderland and it's vintage vibe)

Which sounds better?

Thank you everyone :D !!!!

Except for maybe the guy that "can't answer".... LOL

I think both are great names, and have a lot of meaning and depth... which I appreciate.

If I had to choose, I would go with Strawberry Koi <3

Monster
The Twinkle of Tea sounds better to me.

Why not google each name and see if it comes up, if it doesn't then that's the one you pick because you want it to come up on top page in the search engines which benefits your business.

choo_shoe
Strawberry Koi :) the other one sounds like a tea store's name

A Twinkle Of Tea would be better, as Strawberry Koi gives off a pink/red feel.

The second does give off a vintage feel, more so than Strawberry, which sounds more modern and cute.

Whichever you choose, I wish you luck and success!

Strawberry Koi (sounds good). If you are passionate about Vintage clothing We'd love to hear from you..
How's that slogan.
I hope you are successful in you endeavors.

You have the right idea. For me I like Strawberry but not Koi. Koi is a fish. That just isn't as luscious as a strawberry. Use something with Strawberry, such as Strawberry Hill, Blueberry Hill (I know that is a change.). "Strawberries & Cream", etc.
Good Luck to you. jd

I think they are both confusing. how about strawberry koi :)

Entertainment World
Those two choices both sound very nice.

But,
I like Strawberry Koi better because I also love strawberries and Koi Goldfish.

Good Luck!

Don't misunderstand, but I'm not certain that either name is a good one for a vintage clothing store. If I'm looking for vintage clothing, I won't search for Strawberry Koi or Twinkle of Tea. I'm going to search for vintage clothing.

While you can certainly put such things in your meta-tags, if you could tie the vintage clothing angle into your domain name, you'll move up higher in the search engines. And that's HUGE with an online store.

I`m sorry to say, neither one strikes me as a catchy and attention getting name for vintage clothes.
What about something like Victorian Romance, or Somewhere in time?

I like Strawberry Koi a lot. It sounds a little exotic. Twinkle of Tea sounds kind of like a kids bed time story or nursery rhyme.

Don't use the Twinkle of Tea. It sounds like you'll be open for tea and biscuits, not vintage clothes.
